What is

program, regular exercise program, aerobics classes and spa sessions,
to achieve optimum health benefits physically, mentally and psychologically
and to live healthier, happier and longer.

What is the SPA?
• SPA is an abbreviation of “Salus per Aquam”,
which is a Latin acronym for "Health through Water”. According
to the International Spa Association, SPA is defined as an entity
devoted to enhancing overall well-being through a variety of professional
services that encourage the renewal of mind, body and spirit.
Sauna Session Tips:
• A Sauna session consists of 2–3 sets, each
set lasts for 5–10 minutes
• The higher-level bench is for a hotter temperature, while the
lower- level bench is for moderate temperature
• Recommended temperature varies from 70 to 90 °C
• Sauna heats the surrounding air to the body
• Take a warm shower before use
• Take a cool shower or plunge into the pool after each set
Infrared Sauna Session Tips:
• An Infrared Sauna session consists of 2 to
3 sets, each set lasts for 5 to 10 minutes
• Recommended temperature varies from 40 to 70 °C
• Infrared radiation heats the skin directly without warming the
surrounding air
• Take a warm shower before use
• Take a cool shower or plunge into the pool after each set
Steam Bath Session Tips:
• Steam Bath Session consists of 2 to 3 sets,
each set lasts for 5 to 10 minutes
• Recommended Steam-room temperature varies from 40 to 50 °C
• Take a warm shower before use
• Take a cool shower or plunge into the pool after each set
Jacuzzi Session Tips:
• Jacuzzi session time is recommended to last
for 10 to 15 minutes
• Jacuzzi temperature varies from 30 to 35 °C
• Circuit session is recommended, with 2 to 5 minutes in each
position (about 4 positions)
• Take a warm shower before use and a cool one after
Pool Tips:
• Aqua exercises (aerobic or anaerobic) are very
beneficial to increase muscles and joints strength, as well as,
improving cardiovascular activities.
• Water helps in carrying part of body weight during exercise,
easing back pain and stress on joints.
• Aqua exercises are very beneficial for overweight people, pregnant
women and people with arthritis because water exercises are non-
impact exercises.
• Take a cool shower before and after use.
Hydro Massage Pool session:
• Hydro Massage Pool session is recommended to
vary from 10 to 20 minutes
• Hydro massage pool temperature varies from 35 to 40 °C
• Take a warm shower before use and a cool one after
• It is recommended to locate powerful jets in different places
to cover different body parts.
• Circuit session is recommended, 30 to 60 seconds in each body
part (about 12 positions).
What are the SPA Area Guidelines?
• Consult your physician before using any of
the spa facilities, especially if: pregnant, suffering from acute
joint injury, any cardiovascular or pulmonary disease, skin or
any other infection or if taking any medication.
• Proper attire must be worn (swimming suit only); complete nudity
is totally forbidden.
• Drink at least one liter of water before, during and after the
spa session to avoid dehydration.
• If your skin becomes clammy, you feel weak, tired, nauseous,
or dizzy, STOP use immediately! This could be a sign of heat exhaustion.
• If you stop sweating, get out immediately! This may be the initial
stage of heat stroke.
• Relaxation is recommended during the spa sessions for recovery
and mind relaxation.
